

Running September 4–10, 2025, Algeria will host the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF 2025) at the SAFEX – Palais des Expositions, Algiers, positioning the country at the center of Africa’s economic future. Organized by the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) in collaboration with the African Union Commission(AUC) and the AfCFTA Secretariat, the trade fair is expected to be one of the largest and most influential gatherings dedicated to intra-African commerce, innovation, and industrial cooperation.
Adopting the slogan “Algeria at the Heart of the African Future,” the event reflects both Algeria’s geographical role and its rising influence in advancing Africa’s economic integration under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA)
Event at a Glance , Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF 2025) which is going to be held from September 4 to 10th ,2025 with the theme of Boosting Intra-African Trade for sustainable Future: Innovation , Value Addition and Green Industrialization with exhibitors of over 2,000+ companies and institutions from over 75 countries. The trade fair ought to include over 35,000 delegates which includes policy makers , entrepreneurs , financers , and global trade partners at the SAFEX – Palais des Expositions, Pins Maritimes, Algiers.

Youth, Innovation, and the Future of African Trade. IATF 2025 will serve as “The AfCFTA Marketplace,” where governments, investors, and businesses converge to unlock opportunities within the world’s largest free trade area. More than just a trade exhibition, the event provides a powerful platform for Africa’s youth who represent over 60% of the continent’s population to actively shape the future of commerce, technology, and sustainable industries.
Key focus areas include innovation & technology with digital trade , fintech , and e-commerce. Value addition and manufacturing such as agro-processing , industrialisation and cross-border supply chains. In addition to that, renewable energy is sustainable industrialization which consists of a green economy and climate-smart industries. This year’s IATF Conference will also include specialized youth-centered initiatives including the Youth and Women in Trade programs, which will empower young entrepreneurs with access to finance, mentorship, and continental partnerships.
