

Ghana is mourning after the tragic helicopter crash that claimed the lives of eight individuals. Among the victims were two prominent Muslim figures: Dr. Ibrahim Mohammed Murtala and Alhaji Muniru Limuna Mohammed.
In accordance with Islamic tradition and customs, the Muslim Jannaza Prayers will be held on Sunday, August 10 at 2:00 PM in the forecourt of the State House, followed by burial at 2:30 PM at the Military Cemetery in Accra.
The official announcement was made by the President of the Republic of Ghana, the Vice President, the Speaker of Parliament, as well as the highest authorities of the country, in the presence of the National Chief Imam and community leaders.
