The exhibition-forum “Russia” has opened in Moscow, where 89 Russian regions are invited to plunge into the history and culture of the people using innovative technologies
In Moscow, at the VDNKh station, the International Exhibition and Forum “Russia” opened, where 89 Russian regions present exhibits related to their past and future. Each forum stand is filled with cultural and historical heritage, which opens the door to the world of the mysterious Russian soul like a key. The exhibition is a fair of achievements, so the emphasis in many exhibitions is on modern technologies, but their use echoes the customs and traditions of the indigenous peoples of Russia. Perhaps this is the largest exhibition project in the world. More than 2.5 thousand guides took part in it, and more than 190 thousand people became guests of the exhibition on the first day!
Moving on to the exhibition, it is worth noting the huge number of interactive stands that will appeal to every visitor. For example, the stand «Altai Republic», where guests are immersed in the world of a heroic epic from mountain ranges and deep-sea rivers. The exposition of the Republic of Khakassia is presented by two bionic yurts embodying a special way of life. In one of the yurts a local shaman gives his predictions, and in the second one, he talks about the cultural heritage of the region. The Omsk region invites you to look inside the Russian «Angara-A5» rocket and take a virtual trip. On the threshold of the stand “Krasnoyarsk region” we are greeted by Father Yenisei whose beard resembles Zeus. The model of the five-meter sculpture and weighing almost a ton was developed by a neural network, but the features and habits of the sculpture are no different from the Russian hero. When approaching to the stand of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area, there are polar bears – guards of the Russian Arctic. They will take you on an amazing journey around Yamal: control natural phenomena, take a trip on a nuclear icebreaker, and see how gas is produced. The Perm Region surprises with robotization. The robot Ardi is presented here – a project of local engineers. It can work offline, recognize the speech of the interlocutor, read poetry and even take selfies. Among other things, guests of the exhibition are invited to take part in the immersive show “The Path of the Pioneers,” walk a protected path in the company of a hologram of a tiger, and try yourself in conquering mountain peaks at a climbing wall.
You can see all this and much more with your own eyes, touch the world of high technology and innovative solutions in the context of the connection between generations, feel the spirit of national unity, the centuries-old heritage that Russians honor to this day. In fact, the forum is a virtual journey through Russia, which is practically impossible to comprehend. The exhibition provides a unique opportunity to do in a day what many Western explorers were unable to do during the years spent in the wild steppes and harsh winters.
The exhibition-forum “Russia” is open on the territory of VDNKh until April 12, 2024. The scale is colossal: 13 excursion routes and over 500 events are organized for visitors daily. Entrance to the exhibition is free, which means that in Russia everyone is welcome who respects the traditions of other peoples, is open to new things and remains open-minded in all their endeavors.

В Москве, на станции ВДНХ открылась Международная выставка-форум «Россия», где 89 российских регионов представляют экспонаты, связанные с их прошлым и будущем. Каждый стенд форума наполнен культурно-историческим наследием, которое как ключик открывает нам дверь в мир загадочной русской души. Выставка представляет собой ярмарку достижений, поэтому акцент во многих экспозициях сделан на современных технологиях, но их использование перекликается с обычаями и традициями коренных народов России. Пожалуй, это самый масштабный выставочный проект в мире. В нем приняли участие более 2,5 тысяч экскурсоводов, а гостями выставки в первый день стали более 190 тыс. человек!
Переходя к выставке, стоит отметить огромное количество интерактивных стендов, которые придутся по душе каждому посетителю. Например, стенд «Республики Алтай», где гостей погружают в мир героическеского эпоса из горных хребтов и глубоководных рек. В экспозиции Республики Хакасия представлены две бионические юрты, олицетворяющие особый уклад жизни. В одной из юрт дает свои предсказания местный шаман, а во второй — рассказывается про культурное наследие региона. Омская область приглашает заглянуть внутрь российской ракеты «Ангара – А5» и совершить виртуальное путешествие. На пороге «Красноярского края» нас встречает батюшка Енисей, похожий бородой на самого Зевса. Макет пятиметровой скульптуры и весом под тонну разработала нейросеть, но чертами и повадками скульптура ничем не отличается от русского богатыря. На подходе к стенду Ямало-ненецкого автономного округа стоят белые медведей – стражники русской Арктики. Они позовут в удивительное путешествие по Ямалу: управлять природными явлениями, совершить поездку на атомном ледоколе, и увидеть, как добывают газ. Пермский край удивляет роботизацией. Здесь представлен робот Арди — проект местных инженеров. Он умеет работать в автономной режиме, распознавать речь собеседника, читать стихи и даже делать селфи. Помимо прочего, гостям выставки предлагают поучаствовать в иммерсивном шоу «Путь первопроходцев», пройти заповедной тропой в компании с голограммой тигра и попробовать себя в покорении горных вершин на скалодроме.
Все это и многое другое вы можете увидеть своими глазами, прикоснуться к миру высоких технологий и инновационных решений в контексте связи поколений, ощутить дух народного единства, векового наследия, которое русские чтят и по сей день. По сути, форум – виртуальное путешествие по России, которую практические невозможно объять. Выставка предоставляет уникальную возможность сделать за день то, что не удавалось многим западным исследователям за годы, проведенные в диких степях и суровых зимах.
Выставка-форум «Россия» открыта на территории ВДНХ до 12 апреля 2024 года. Масштаб колоссальный: для посетителей организованы 13 экскурсионных маршрутов и свыше 500 мероприятий ежедневно. Вход на выставку бесплатный, а это значит, что в России рады каждому, кто с трепетом относится к традициям других народов, открыт новому и сохраняет непредубеждённость во всех своих начинаниях.
