The International Christian Chamber of Commerce (ICCC) successfully convened its Ethiopia gathering today at Sapphire Addis Hotel in Addis Ababa, bringing together Christian business leaders, marketplace ministers, entrepreneurs, and investors committed to advancing God’s Kingdom through ethical leadership and business.

Founded on a vision developed during the late 1970s and early 1980s by J. Gunnar Olson, ICCC seeks to place the Kingdom of God as the highest priority in business life. Through biblical teaching, leadership development, and practical marketplace discipleship, the organization equips men and women to live out their Christian faith in every sphere of economic and professional life. Its mission emphasizes stewardship, integrity, servant leadership, generosity, and the Lordship of Jesus Christ in business.

This year’s Ethiopia gathering welcomed delegates from across the country. More than a business conference, the event served as a strategic platform where purpose-driven investors, marketplace leaders, and kingdom innovators explored how biblical principles can contribute to Ethiopia’s economic transformation while creating lasting impact across Africa.

The conference featured Dr. John Kauya, ICCC Africa Regional Director, who traveled from Malawi and is originally from Botswana. Participants also received virtual addresses from Mr. Jasper of South Africa, together with ICCC leaders from Sweden and the United States, while members from Chad joined the proceedings through Zoom, demonstrating the organization’s growing international collaboration.

Throughout the sessions, speakers emphasized that faith and enterprise are not separate callings but complementary avenues through which Christian leaders can influence society, create sustainable businesses, generate employment, and serve communities with excellence and integrity.
